Detailed itinerary

1

Our first destination is Inhaca Island, a tropical paradise known for its lush vegetation, colorful coral reefs, and charming fishing villages. As we approach, you’ll see the island’s white sandy beaches fringed by palm trees and clear, shallow waters that sparkle under the sun.

We’ll drop anchor near the shore, giving you the chance to dive into the crystal-clear waters for your first snorkeling session of the day. The underwater world here is simply mesmerizing – you’ll swim among schools of tropical fish, admire vibrant corals, and perhaps even spot starfish or small rays gliding gracefully along the seabed. Our experienced guides will provide snorkeling gear and ensure your safety as you explore this natural aquarium.

After snorkeling, you’ll head to Inhaca Village for a delicious, freshly prepared lunch. Enjoy a taste of local Mozambican cuisine with grilled seafood, chicken, fresh salads, and seasonal fruits.

2

After leaving Inhaca, we’ll make our way to the Santa Maria Peninsula, located just across a narrow channel from the island. This area is one of Mozambique’s hidden gems, famous for its mangrove forests, calm lagoons, and unspoiled beauty.

Here, you’ll have the chance to explore by kayak, gliding gently through the serene waters surrounded by lush greenery and exotic birdlife. The mangroves are an essential part of the coastal ecosystem, providing shelter to crabs, fish, and countless bird species. It’s a peaceful and enriching experience that allows you to connect deeply with nature.

For those who prefer to relax, Santa Maria’s beaches are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, or simply lying back and listening to the sound of the waves. The turquoise waters are warm and inviting, ideal for a refreshing dip after your kayak adventure.

Our crew will serve light snacks and refreshing drinks during this stop, ensuring you stay energized and hydrated throughout the day.

3

The last destination on our tour is the enchanting Portuguese Island – a small, uninhabited paradise located just off the coast of Inhaca. This island is a favorite among travelers for its untouched beauty, long sandy beaches, and shallow lagoons that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

We’ll anchor near the shore and give you time to explore at your own pace. Wander along the beach collecting seashells, take another dip in the ocean, or grab a paddleboard or kayak to explore the coastline from the water. The calm, clear conditions make it a fantastic spot for both beginner and experienced paddlers.

If you’re a photography lover, Portuguese Island offers some of the best photo opportunities of the day. The contrast between the white sand, turquoise waters, and blue sky creates postcard-perfect moments you’ll want to capture forever.

As the afternoon sun begins to set, you’ll feel a deep sense of relaxation and connection to the ocean – the essence of Mozambique’s coastal charm.
