HaiDiLao offers an extensive sauce dipping bar, and you can mix your own sauce to dip with beef, lamb, mutton, shrimp skewers or veggies like shiitake mushroom, sliced lotus, spinach or potatoes. Meet your friendly private guide in your hotel lobby at 7:00 p.m. to get your dinner tour started. First, try some typical Shanghai-style dishes. Locals call them "Benbangcai" referring to authentic Shanghai home-style cooking. Try signature dishes, such as Lion's Head (meatball), pickled edamame and cabbage, stir-fried rice cake, and crispy spring rolls. You'll also visit the most popular snack shop in the city, and taste a sesame biscuit.
