Ngong Hills makes an excellent hiking experience, since the highest hill has an elevation of 2460m(8042ft). It is in the south west of Nairobi so one can see amazing views of the rift valley to the right and views of Nairobi cityto the left during the hike. Your guide takes you through the 12km hiking trail. Comfortable hiking shoes with good grip, long pants and long sleeves recommended as it can get very windy.

Our accredited guide will pick you up from your hotel. They will then drive you to Ngong hills(1 hour drive) while giving you a description of the tour. Once at the hills you will see the windmills at the KenGen power station. This is where you begin the hike across the seven hills. Keep an eye out for the animals you might see during the hike. This is a 12km hike to the seventh hill and back to the car. It is advisable to carry hiking gear, drinking water, snacks or picnic food for the best experience. Mornings can be cold so have a warm jacket. Once done with the hike your driver could take you to a nice restaurant for lunch before finally dropping you at your apartment/hotel.
