Discover the surroundings and culture of East London.
Emerald Vale is nestled in the Jikeleza Route, also known as the "Gateway to the Wild Coast", and is so much more than just a brewery. The local community is always in the focus: Artists and Craftsmen present their skills and you can become part of it by trying out basket weaving or creating the traditional bead figures.
An absolute highlight is the visit of the local school choir, which will captivate you with melodic rhythms.
Those who want to can explore the beautiful nature on a short hike to the dam along the signposted nature trail (distance 1.1 km for active people). Those who prefer it more comfortable can take a short trip in 4x4 vehicles to the dam and the viewing points.
