About this experience

The incredible Beach lodge is truly beautiful with breathtaking views, great hosts and staff; and a place to unwind and feel at one with nature. Super food and surroundings allow you to really soak up the African Atmosphere and tranquility in peace.

If it's swimming in the pool or ocean, walking along the miles of golden beach or just relaxing around the resort, you will feel reenergized at the end of your short stay.

After all of this, you get to top it off by meeting ABBY the giraffe.
This really puts size into perspective when you are up close and personal with him, as well you being able to appreciate an experience that is unique and that you will talk about for years to come.

This is a small intimate tour so that you don't feel like just a number.

You will be accompanied by one of our experienced tour guides on your drive to this beautiful Private Beach Lodge.

The resort is nestled on the East Coast of East London set in the Indigenous Sea Bush. A beautiful setting with incredible views and soothing and relaxing atmosphere which is good for the soul.

Once at the lodge you get to spend your time basking in the sun around the swimming pool, enjoying cocktails/drinks, going for walks on the km's of golden beach or just taking in the amazing views.

Lunch will be served at about mid-day (timings dependent) This is normally a delicious buffet, traditional braai (BBQ), or set menu.

After lunch your guide will accompany you to the shuttle where you will be transferred to the next resort (about 15 mins) where you will get to meet ABBY the Giraffe.

After arriving at Areena, you will change over onto a Safari vehicle which will go in search of ABBY the Giraffe.

Once you have found ABBY, you have the chance to interact and possibly feed him while your guide gives you interesting facts about Giraffes on a very informative interaction.

After the interaction, you will change over to your shuttle for the return trip to port in time for boarding your cruise.
