Your first stop is at Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Take a leisurely stroll through its impressive red sandstone courtyard, a marvel constructed in 1656 with the collective efforts of 5,000 workers. Located in the heart of Chandni Chowk, it stands proudly in front of the majestic 'Red Fort.' This grand mosque has the capacity to accommodate up to 25,000 people at a time.

3
Stop 3

Explore the renowned spice market in Chandni Chowk, where your senses will come alive with the vibrant aromas and colors of Indian spices like never before. Learn fascinating facts and discover the various uses of these spices. As you relax in your tuk-tuk, take in the sights and sounds of the lively bazaars of Old Delhi, all the while gaining insights into their importance for the local community from your guide.

The Red Fort, a colossal architectural masterpiece constructed by Shah Jahan between 1639-1648, once served as the primary residence of the Mughal emperors. Its design beautifully blends Indo-Islamic and Mughal architectural styles. An impressive feature of this fort is its 2.4-kilometer-long protective wall, a marvel that never fails to leave a lasting impression. During our tour, we'll have a drive past this iconic monument.

In 1664, the eighth Sikh Guru visited the King and performed acts of healing, distributing water from a tank to those suffering from smallpox and cholera epidemics. Remarkably, this historic water tank still stands within the gurudwara premises and is believed to have medicinal properties. During our visit, we'll also have the opportunity to see the community kitchen, where approximately 20,000 people receive free meals daily. The dining hall is open to all, regardless of their religious affiliation, reflecting the spirit of unity and service.

Stop 6

Optionally, we can visit Raj Ghat, a memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi in Delhi, India. Originally, it was the name of a historic ghat in Old Delhi, located near the Raj Ghat Gate of the walled city, opening to the west bank of the Yamuna River. Over time, the entire memorial area came to be known as Raj Ghat.

7
Stop 7

The 1921 'Tomb of the Unknown Soldier' features the names of 13,300 Indian army servicemen carved on the wall, commemorating those who lost their lives during the First World War.
