Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Meet your guide in your Chengdu downtown hotel lobby and travel the spectacular Qingcheng Mountain, a majestic mound surrounding by lush forest and secluded tranquility. Climb aboard a boat for an idyllic cruise across the Yuecheng Lake and then look down to the green forest from the cable car, later follow your guide to hike up the mountain, visiting various temples along the way such as the Jianfu temple, from the Tang Dynasty, or the Tianshi Cave which was finished during the Qing Dynasty (1644AD-1912AD), a famous Taoist master used to taught place.

Stop 2

Your guide and driver will take you to Dujiangyan irrigation system in the afternoon after a delicious lunch meal.

Dujiangyan project originally was built in 256 BC, which is the world’s oldest non-dam irrigation facility. A marvel of engineering, and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, uses the natural topography of the region, as well as hydrological features of the river, to irrigate 1.65 million acres (668,700 hectares) of farmland.

After Dujiangyan visit, you private guide and driver will take you back hotel at the end.
