Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

We will begin our trip to Luxor in a comfortable Van, with a small group of people.

2
Stop 2

Karnak Temple, probably the largest temple complex in the world, welcomes you with the Avenue of the Sphinx before entering the impressive columned hall. The ancient Avenue of the Sphinx connected the temple of Karnak with the temple of Luxor and today much of it has been restored with great effort. For this project, some buildings in the center of Luxor had to be removed and rebuilt elsewhere. At the Karnak Temple you will enter a sacred place of worship in ancient Egypt. The temple complex consists of several temples and the "Holy Lake", a place for sacrifices and purification rituals. Our Egyptologist will be happy to answer all your open questions about the history of the Karnak temple. After our walk through the impressive temple complex, we pause to enjoy some delicious, high-end local food.

3
Stop 3

After regaining strength with our delicious, high-quality local food, we will visit the famous Valley of the Kings. Up here, in the huge rock, countless tombs were discovered, today we will visit 3 of the most beautiful. The impressive wall paintings of the tombs tell their stories. You will be surprised at how well preserved these drawings are, made with natural colors like egg yolks. A true masterpiece! There is much that has yet to be discovered in the world-famous valley, and on our way to the Valley of the Kings, we are likely to encounter an archaeologist or two in search of new discoveries.

4
Stop 4

The Colossi of Memnon are enormous twin statues made of blocks of quartzite sandstone. The Colossi were thought to guard the entrance to the Memorial Temple of Amenhotep. Los Colosos is one of the best places to take fabulous photographs.

5
Stop 5

The Temple of Hatshepsut is carved into the limestone cliffs high above the desert in the Deir el-Bahari valley. Seeing it from afar is a unique and impressive image that you will never forget. The temple is one of the most impressive works of architecture in the world, stepped platforms, colonnaded porticos and vivid reliefs contrast with a desert background.
