Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

We will begin our trip to Luxor in a comfortable Van, with a small group of people.

2
Stop 2

The Karnak religious complex and its temples are one of the places of greatest historical value in Egyptian history. This is due to the way these temples were built at the time. These were built starting with the central sanctuary and then the outer areas. Because the main temple (of Luxor) is dedicated to the God Amun-Ra (god of creation and the sun), many pharaohs expanded the temple with new monuments to honor the main god of the Egyptian pantheon.

3

This temple stands out for being located on an axis perpendicular to the Nile River, which demonstrates the fundamental importance that the river had for the ancient Egyptians. Inside, you can admire a hypostyle hall with more than 5,000 square meters and 134 columns, some of which reach a height of 23 meters. In addition, there are two other deities represented in different statues and columns: Mut and Jonsu.

4

Dedicated to the ancient local warrior god, Montu.

5

Dedicated to the goddess Mut, who, together with Amun and Jonsu, formed the main triad of divinities of Thebes.

6

Explore the elegance and history of the Valley of the Queens near Luxor, Egypt. The ticket includes visits to three tombs, each displaying walls beautifully decorated with vibrant frescoes, hieroglyphs and reliefs. One of the highlights is the optional visit to the Tomb of Nefertari, known for its impressive works of art. This tomb requires an additional fee but offers a unique insight into ancient Egyptian life and beliefs.

7
Stop 7

Explore the Temple of Medinet Habu, an ancient temple dedicated to Pharaoh Ramesses III. Admire its well-preserved towers, courtyards and sanctuaries, adorned with intricate hieroglyphs and reliefs depicting battle scenes and religious rituals. Don't miss the impressive Great Hypostyle Hall, a testament to ancient Egyptian architecture and art. A visit here offers a fascinating insight into the history and culture of ancient Egypt.

8

These statues, weighing more than 720 tons each, are the last vestige of the largest temple in Egypt that was dedicated to Pharaoh Amenhotep III. These statues tell at their base the story of the god who causes the annual floods of the Nile River “Hapy”. Being in an area affected by these floods, the temple of Amenhotep III has completely disappeared and the statues have suffered millennia of deterioration in which its legend has grown.

9
Stop 9

We will pass in front of the imposing temple of Luxor for a quick stop that gives you time to photograph it.

10
Stop 10

We will return to Hurghada and drop you off at your hotel.
