Maracajaú fica localizada a 70km de Natal e seu principal atrativo são os mergulhos nos parrachos. Estas formações de arrecifes de 15km de extensão e cerca de 3 metros de profundidade fica a 7 km da praia são uma área de proteção ambiental de águas cristalinas onde é possível ver de perto vários peixinhos e corais coloridos.
Para chegar aos parrachos, utilizamos lanchas até um flutuante fixo em alto mar que oferece infraestrutura para a realização do mergulho de snorkel ou cilindro. Instrutores auxiliam os visitantes e aqueles que irão realizar o primeiro mergulho.
A praia é praticamente intocada pela urbanização, deixando que a beleza natural do local maravilhe os visitantes e a abundante vida marinha nos corais encantam adultos e crianças tornando Maracajaú um passeio inesquecível!
