Although it really showcases Catalan Modernism and Gaudi's singular style, you'll find a little Neo-Gothic in there, starting with crypt built by the Basilica's first architect Villar. Paradoxically, Gaudi, who died well before the monument was completed, is buried in the only part of he did not designed himself!
Sagrada Familia now is Gaudi's most famous Barcelona masterpiece and part of UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is expected to be finally inaugurated in 2026, a whooping 100 years after Gaudi's death. Can't wait to see it all done. Guess we'll all have to come back!
