We have bilingual guides who will make you live a wonderful experience on the volcano and then we will go to a beach club facing the sea so you can relax and enjoy the pool and the beautiful views.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

The Mud Volcano is 45 minutes from Cartagena, so we will be arriving between 10:00 am and 10:30 am. There we will enjoy the wonderful experience of feeling the mud on our skin, swimming in the mud, taking photos and removing the mud, all with the help of the natives in exchange for a voluntary tip.

Stop 2

The second part of the tour begins at this wonderful beach club. We will arrive at Arena Beach to relax, enjoy the facilities, you can use the pool, the beach, sun loungers, hammocks, go to the beach, etc.

After lunch (fish, chicken, pork and vegetarian options) we will be in this place until 3 pm, at which time we will return to Cartagena.

Do not wear new clothes, jewelry or wallet inside the volcano. Your belongings will remain inside the bus. Once clients get off the bus, we close the bus until all clients have left the volcano and removed the mud for the safety of their belongings. This place does not have the support of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Colombia or the Government of Bolívar. Spontaneously it is the Totumo Volcano Workers Association and their families who manage this site, that is, they are local and native people who work there, there are 3 people on the tour who will help you by taking photos, giving you massages and helping you. Mud is removed for an extra tip. Bring small bills to tip if you want to use their services.

Meeting point

Clients staying in the historic center, Manga neighborhood or in places outside the pickup area must arrive at this meeting point at 8:00 am.
