About this experience

For our Niagara Craft Cider Day Tour, our guests will first begin learning all about the cider-making experience from the insight provided by the experts at Niagara College’s Teaching Winery. From there, it will be lunchtime over in Virgil at Silversmith Brewing Company and an occasion for a refreshing pint of cider. The 3rd stop on the Day Tour will be an informative talk & tastings of Shiny Ciders over at Small Talk Vineyards. The Day Tour concludes with an educational tour & tastings of Ironwood Hard Cider at Canada’s original fruit winery – Sunnybrook Winery near the lakeshore in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Each Guests will receive Cider in the forms of Samples, Flights or Pints. Food is NOT included in the pricing. Guests must be 19 years of age to receive alcoholic beverages.

We provide gratuity for each staff member at each Cider House. So, our guests don't have too.

Detailed itinerary

For our Niagara Craft Cider Day Tour, our guests will first begin learning all about the cider-making experience from the insight provided by the experts at Niagara College’s Teaching Winery. Several samples of their various cider's will be provided. Enjoy the view of their very own vineyard sitting at the base of the Niagara Escarpment.

The 3rd stop on this Day Tour will be an informative talk & tastings of Shiny Ciders over at Small Talk Vineyards. Shiny Apple Cider is everywhere and surely you recognise the can. Did you know they have many varieties? Guests will unlock their other cider options and take part in a tasting adventure.

This Day Tour concludes with an educational tour & tastings of Ironwood Hard Cider at Canada’s original fruit winery – Sunnybrook Winery near the lakeshore in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Customers will receive a flight of their choice and also have an option at sampling the best fruit wines in there world! This is also our designated lunch stop. Guests will have the chance to order something off of the impressive Ironwood food menu.
