See some of the 'Game of Thrones' filming locations in Girona's old town and get enchanted by the beauty of medieval village Pals and of fishing village Calella de Palafrugell.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Barcelona and travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to Girona where your walking tour of the city begins. See the Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants, the cathedral of Santa Maria and the Jewish quarter.
Next, we head to the medieval village of Pals where you should try a rice casserole for lunch before we stroll through its historic romanesque centre.
The last stop of the day is at a beautiful fishing village Calella de Palafrugell on the shore of Costa Brava, where you can swim in the clear waters, soak up the sun, or take a walk along the shore.

Drive from Barcelona to Girona (70 minutes). See the column of the lion and the outside of Sant Feliu church where the legend of 'Sant Narcis and the flies' emerges and get details about Girona's local heroes Sant Narcis and Sant Feliu (20 minutes).
From the church of Saint Feliu we start a walk to the monasteries of Sant Pere Galligants and the square of the judges, where we see some of the filming locations of Game of Thrones. From here we cross walk along the city walls heading towards the cathedral.
After crossing the city gates, we come to the cathedral of Santa María, former Roman temple and important filming location for Game of Thrones. Walk of the Jewish Quarter down to Pujada de San Domenech.
We cross the Onyar river and see the colourful houses built along the riverside. This is the compulsory selfie location.
Drive to the medieval village of Pals (40 minutes) where you have the opportunity to eat unforgettable rice and seafood dishes. After lunch we have a walk of the marvellous historical center with its fortress, the church of Sant Pere and the tower of the hours.
Time to relax and to enjoy the amazing landscapes of Costa Brava and the Mediterranean charms of former fishing village Calella de Palafrugell. Feel free to swim in crystal clear water when the temperatures allow it.
