About this experience

Enjoy a half day cruising the harbor on a private center console captained by a professional yacht captain. Stop at secluded island beaches for shark tooth hunting, shelling or just lay out on the beach.

We pass by all the historic areas of the harbor and more. The perfect boat to see and do it all in style!

Add beach chairs, cabana, beach towels, beach cooler and JBL speaker, and make it a party on the beach (additional fees for each item).

Southern Charm can reach speeds of 30mph, in three hours we can cover a lot of ground and visit many parts of the harbor. Lunch at Shem Creeks many restaurants is an option along with a long stroll on Morris island with the hopes of finding that coveted 50 million year old Megalodon tooth! Its up to you what we do and our captain will take you there!

We provide, cooler with ice, soft drinks, bottled water, Bluetooth boat stereo, Emergency porto potty, and Rain ponchos just in case

You may bring any food or beverages onboard.

Meeting point

Park or get dropped off at the main dock entrance inside the marina parking lot, follow the signs to I dock off the Main dock entrance. Walk down the main dock and take a right at the bathrooms, continue down to the second dock on the left. You should see our signs.

Important notes

Located in the Safe Harbor City Marina in downtown Charleston. Park in the pay parking lot located in front of the Marina Variety store and seafood restaurant and salty Mike's bar. Walk towards the water from the restaurant and you will pass the Charleston sailing School on the left. You will then see the sandwich board signs directly ahead pointing you to the left. Follow the concrete dock to the left and you will zigzag down to the floating docks on the left hand side.

Once you are through the metal gate it will be the second boat on the right.

If you wish to visit the beach and or swim during the summer, we have optional accessories to make your trip exceptional. A three hour trip gives us up to 2 hours to hang out on the beach, if you are from out of town and dont have all the beach accessories we can provide them at additional cost.

Will I get wet?
Usually you wont get wet other than some spray now and then. If you are planning on doing a beach excursion then yes you will get wet getting on and off the boat. We usually get our feet wet up to our knees and sometimes up to your waist when getting on or off the boat. You must be able to climb off and back on using the swim ladder and swim step, this will be very difficult for those with disabilities. If we get caught in the rain we do have ponchos for each guest to keep you dry. We also have dry storage for all your bags.

Morning and afternoon Charters start at 3 hours and can be extended to 4 hours if planning ahead.

Sunset charters start at 2 hours and can be extended to three hours.
