Detailed itinerary

1

Here you will try the superb canyoning activity: it's like natural water park among the tropical forest..

You'll follow the river in the limestone canyon. You can walk, swim, slide and jump from the cascades!

No need to swim very well, but you shouldn't be afraid of water if you want to do this activity. If you don't like to jump from the waterfall, you don't have to.

Activity for 8 years old and older folks.

It's one of the biggest attractions of Puerto Plata region!

Please bring your swimming suite, towel and dry change of clothes. It would be great if you have also water shoes and waterproof camera, but you can also rent the shoes for 2$ and pay for photos and videos (45$ per family)

After the activity, we will have a buffet lunch with Dominican food.

2

Here you'll see the plantation of organic cocoa and visit a chocolate manufacture. Local women work together in order to obtein the quality products made out of local cocoa beans.

Very nice spot! They do receive visitors and show the factory but their main mission is the production of chocolates, bonbons, cocoa powder, etc. You'll see something truly authentic.

During the visit you'll taste different products made out of organic cocoa bean... And also selection of local fruit wines ;)

3

We invite you to visit our Dominican friend living in a cottage in the countryside. He'll prepare for us the traditional coffee made on bonfire. You can also enter his house and experience the real country life.

It's a true house and not an open air museum for the tourists.

4

Dominican Republic is well known for it's good quality tobacco leaves and cigars. We'll show you how the hand made cigars are prepared and you can even taste them on the spot!

We won't miss the famous mamajuana traditional liquor and we'll give you the selection of the most popular Brugal rum for tasting.

So you'll know all the most important Dominican Flavors!
