About this experience

Positano for Foodies is the authentic and first walking tour of Positano made for food lovers. It's a great way to explore Positano with a local, certified guide who was born and raised here.
The tour starts with a tour in the central area of Positano where you will see many shops and visit some neighborhoods of Positano, discovering its history and traditions. During the tour we will stop to taste local food and drinks (Lemon slush, aperitivo) and the tour will end in a restaurant where we will spend about 1 hour to taste pasta and pastries.

Your guide will be an insider, and during the tour, she will give you all the information you need about where to go, what to do, which restaurant to choose, and where to buy during your stay in Positano.

The total duration of this tour id of 3 hours but it can be longer depending on how much you'd like to be with your insider guide from Positano.

La Botteguccia makes customized leather sandals.
After a short visit to this shop you can customize your pair of sandals by choosing the model, the leather and the swarowki crystals to add in order to create your unique sandals to wear for a special occasion.

Ceramica Assunta is one of the greatest ceramics factory in Positano. The family produces ceramics since 1960s and they ship worldwide. The ceramics they produce is unique and it's 100% made on the Amalfi Coast.
They are also able to customize the ceramic tables in order to give a special touch to your beautiful house.
After a visit to the show room, we can stop for a while in case you'd like to buy some ceramics or also book a ceramic class (in case you like to have a special present from Positano just made by you).

Stop 4

The Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta is a great example of Southern Italian Churches. Built in the 12th century and restored during the the 17th century, this church is beautiful for architecture and paintings.
We will walk inside the church and I will describe all the different styles into the architectures. I will also give you a different perspective of the church by talking about local history and the legend linked to the Black Madonna, a unique painting coming from the Middle East which is really important for locals.

The tour will be around the central area of Positano.
The total duration of the food tour will be about 3 hours as we will end our tour in a restaurant and we will do several stops for history, shopping and food.
