In this level of the tour covers the history medieval caravanserai life. Guest will be explained about trading of Silk Road, caravan destinations, number of historical caravanserais in Baku and generally in Azerbaijan.
Guide will explain about the history of Maiden Tower and other protection and observation towers in Baku. Here admission fee is about 9 USD per person to enter the Maiden Tower. While visiting inside Museum, guests will see the historical materials found around the Tower in the lower floors and modern guns in the upper floors by stepping through the narrow turning steps. Also, guests will have the chance to see the whole Caspian See and buildings around Old City on the top of the Maiden Tower. General duration in front of the Tower is 10 minutes with explanation and photo shoots. If the guests enter inside the Museum, duration will take about 30 minutes.
St. Bartholomew Church was built in 1892 at the expense of donations from the local Christian population on the site where the Apostle Bartholomew was believed to have been killed. It was built on the foundations of the first and oldest church in Baku. The church continued to operate until 1936, then it was demolished as a part of the campaign against religion.

The Museum of Miniature Books, located within the old city - Icheri Sheher, is included in the Guinness Book of Records as the museum with the largest number of miniature books. The creator of the museum, Zarifa Salahova has amassed this unique collection over the past 30 years. The only museum of miniature books in the world opened its doors on April 2, 2002. Today, the museum holds a unique collection of over 5,600 books published in 66 countries around the world. Entrance to Miniature books museum is free.
The Palace of the Shirvanshahs is a 15th-century palace built by the Shirvanshahs and described by UNESCO as "one of the pearls of Azerbaijan's architecture". It is located in Old City. Azerbaijan and, together with the Maiden Tower, forms an ensemble of historic monuments inscribed under the UNESCO World Heritage List of Historical Monuments.
Guide will give detailed information about the statehood of Azerbaijan since the ancient time till today. Also, you will be explained about the complex contains the main building of the palace, Divanhane, the burial-vaults, the shah's mosque with a minaret, Seyid Yahya Bakuvi's mausoleum (the so-called "mausoleum of the dervish"), south of the palace, a portal in the east, Murad's gate, a reservoir and the remnants of a bath house.
