About this experience

Our professional guide and the driver will pick you up from your hotel located in Cappadocia between 09:30 and 10:00. Our first stop is the amazing vista point overlooking Goreme where you will receive information about the rich history of Cappadocia.

Next, visit the highlight of Cappadocia – the Open Air Museum. Your guide will explain the meanings of frescoes covering the walls of thousand-year-old cave churches as you explore this spectacular UNESCO World Heritage site.

Our next stop will be ancient village of Çavusin, where we will spend some time exploring the ruins including churchs and have lunch in a local restaurant. Next stop on Devrent’s animal-shaped rock formations and Pasabag, the Monk’s Valley with the famous mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys.

The day concludes in Avanos, a picturesque town on a river that supplies clay for the 4000 year-old Avanos tradition of pottery. You will arrive back at your hotel around 5pm.

Stop 1

The most beautiful point in Uchisar Castle, located 5 km from the center of Cappadocia, is the fairy chimneys. So much so that fairy chimneys, which can be seen from all over Cappadocia, are located here.

Stop 2

Zelve open air museum is an open air museum located 2 km east of Göreme town. You should never return without seeing Göreme, the most important museum in Cappadocia. from the 4th century to the 13th century, it was the occasion for an extremely intense monastic life. People of Zelve Village were evacuated by munucipatlity in 1950's. Now it is open air museum to see public life of late Cappadocia'ns. The canyon of Zelve is very historic and meaningful with its Grape Church and its geometric frescos for real travellers!

Love Valley is located 15 min driving distance from center of Goreme Town. It is known as one of largest valleys of central Cappadocia.

Stop 4

One of the most beautiful outdoor tourist centers of Cappadocia, Pasabag is another unique place to see in Cappadocia. The Pashabag open-air museum, which will fascinate you with its natural beauties, is famous for its fairy chimneys.
