About this experience

We are excited to bring our Award Winning 'Pixel Mosaics Kit' back to the Studio as a personalised workshop.

The purpose of this workshop is to marry the discipline of ancient mosaic art and digital art.

To ensure the best result you should send us a couple of your favorite pictures, at list 24 hours before the lesson.

After a short historical introduction, you will chose the pixelated version of your image and you will start to make your mosaic by laying the genuine marble tiles, matching them to the corrisponding shades of gray. Over the course of the lesson, you will produce your own handmade mosaic portrait..

Many well-known Italian designers were involved in the creation of the 'Pixel Mosaics Kit'. It was awarded 'Best design of Lazio' in 2014, and was given a nomination by ADI-Association of Industrial Designers in Italy.

This workshop will enable you to bring away an authentic piece of Italian design, with the added benefit of being deeply personal.
