About this experience
Customizable private small group tour that includes Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This tour of the southern end of the Big Island of Hawaii allows you to visit some of the most breathtaking locations the state has to offer while allowing the clients to customize their tour day. You and up to 7 of your guests will enjoy a beautiful private drive in our custom tour van for one price. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is the highlight of this tour, where you'll enjoy views of the Halema'uma'u Crater, Steam Vents, Lava Tube, and much more. The bright orange glow of the lava isn't always visible, but when it is we'll do our best to get you in to see it. This tour can also be scheduled to include nighttime viewing of the lava, when active. Other potential stops for this tour are, Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, Punalu'u Bakery, Southpoint complex, Coffee farms, Mac Nut farms, and more. Your time in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park will bring you face to face with the raw power of mother nature. You'll have time to enjoy several view points of the Halema'uma'u caldera, steam vents, Thurston Lava Tube and much more.

Stop 2
Enjoy a stroll along the Palm Tree lined Punalu'u Black Sand Beach. While your at this location, be sure to keep your eyes open for sea turtles that frequent the area.

Enjoy a malasada and coffee from the southern most bakery in the United States. This stop is also a good place to grab snacks/food for the day before getting into the National Park that doesn't really have many options. The beautiful grounds of this bakery also make for a nice place to stretch your legs after the drive from Kona.

Other potential stops for this itinerary include but are not limited to; the south point complex (green sand beach and the southern most point in the US), Coffee farm (tours and tasting) and Mac Nut Farm. The timing for all activities will be adjusted depending on how many extra stops are made. Booking clients may choose to alter itinerary to fit the desires of the group.
