Walking through the territory of the Ananuri defense complex, you will feel like a resident of the Middle Ages and learn about the glorious past of the Aragva eristavi and we will definitely pay attention to the Assumption Church of the 17th century, whose façade is decorated with interesting bas-reliefs, and each element of the décor carries a hidden meaning.

Situated in the Stepantsminda District, the Gudauri ski resort at an elevation of 2,200 meters offers a breathtaking setting in the heart of the Caucasus Mountains. Beyond skiing, Gudauri provides exceptional opportunities for horse-riding, mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, and more. The Russia-Georgia Friendship Monument, built in 1983 to commemorate the bicentennial of the Treaty of Georgievsk and the enduring friendship between Soviet Georgia and Soviet Russia, stands on the Georgian Military Highway. From this large round stone and concrete structure, adorned with a tile mural depicting Georgian and Russian history, you can admire the captivating Devil's Valley in the Caucasus mountains.

Kazbegi is known for its scenic location in the Caucasus Mountains, and is a center for trekkers and mountain climbing. Local attractions include Mount Kazbegi itself and the alpine meadows and forests of the surrounding Kazbegi Nature Reserve and Gergeti Trinity Church Outside of town. The church is situated under Mount Kazbegi at an elevation of 2170 meters. The Church was built in the 14th century and is the only cross-cupola church in Khevi province. In times of danger, precious relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino's Cross were brought here for safekeeping. During the Soviet era, all religious services were prohibited, but the church remained a popular tourist destination. From the church, you will get an epic panoramic view of the whole valley. The church due to its isolation in the steep mountainous area full of nature, the church remains the most iconic tourist attraction in Georgia. We will be impressed with the view of Mount Kazbegi, which is 5047 m high.
