The experience takes place at a farm specialising in the organic cultivation of saffron, certified according to current regulations. Discover how the idea of growing this precious product came about through the guidance of a local expert, who will introduce you to the history of the farm and the organic cultivation method used. Delve into each stage of production through a workshop lasting about an hour and a half, held by a local shepherd who will teach you how to make saffron-flavoured cheese and ricotta. Conclude the tour the last half hour with a tasting of delicious local products.
The tasting includes aged pecorino cheese, ricotta and saffron bread, local dry sausage, water, a glass of red or white wine from the Sella and Mosca estates, and saffron liqueur.
