The main prayer hall is dominated by one of the world’s largest chandeliers.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand is the eighth largest in the whole world and can house 40000 pilgrims at one go. The carpet measures a whopping 35 tons and measures 60,570 square feet. It is an Iranian carpet and it took almost two years to weave that.
