The moorland is an unique ecosystem which goes from 3.100 MT to 3.800 MT is the ecosystem where the water is generated and Colombia is the country with the major moorland of the world the moorland of sumapaz which you will know in this fantastic tour.
Through this tour we will do hiking during 4 hours to the Boca Grande lake in the moorland of sumapaz. You will be picked up at your hotel and we will begin the hiking at 20 kilometers from Bogota. We will begin in the ecosystem of high Andean forest and after 20 minutes of hiking we will enter the moorland which is an unique ecosystem of the highlands of the tropical areas. The moorland of sumapaz is the biggest moorland in the world thousands of years ago all the moorland were connected in the country but now because deforestation no more sadly.
