La soufriere volcano erupted in 1718,1812,1902,1987 and also on the 9th of April 2021. This hike is suitable for any average hiker, it's accessible from both the north eastern side(Windward) and the north western(Leeward) side of the island. hiking from the windward side...this tour takes an hour from the capital(Kingstown) along the picturesque eastern coast, through agriculture farms on your way to Bamboo range (Where you have access to facilities such as Parking, Washrooms and Gazebos). Starting from bamboo range it's a 4km hike to the summit and 4km hike back, which takes an average hiker 2 hours to hike up and 2 hours back down
