Stop 1 Pass by

The hike begins in a small Berber village at the foot of the Dadès mountains. You pass through irrigated gardens and terraced fields EN where the inhabitants grow their vegetables, almonds and fig trees. The Guide will explain the traditional way DE life and local customs.

You then enter the famous Monkey Fingers Canyon, named after its amazing DE rock formations that resemble monkey fingers. The path winds between huge red walls sculpted by wind and water, offering a unique natural spectacle.

The return is by another, more open path that overlooks the canyon. You’ll see the Dades Valley stretching out in front of you, with its villages, palm groves and ochre mountains.
