The train journey itself offers an unforgettable experience, with breathtaking vistas of highland farms and villages nestled beneath the snow-capped Andean peaks.
Upon your arrival in Aguas Calientes, our representative will greet you at the train station and escort you to the bus terminal, where you will embark on a 25-minute bus ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu.
Our guide will facilitate your passage through security, verifying your original passport with your entrance ticket, before embarking on a two-hour guided tour exploring prime areas of the citadel, providing insights into Inca civilization, followed by leisure time to enjoy the scenic beauty of Machu Picchu.
After exploring the lost city of the Incas, you'll return to Aguas Calientes by bus, where you'll have free time to dine at a local restaurant (meal not included in the tour price). Later in the afternoon, you will be taking the train back to Ollantaytambo.
