About this experience

Over the course of 1.5 hours you'll mix, shake, stir, and garnish cocktails under the guidance of a bar pro. This class is great for total novices and those who already have experience with home bartending. You’ll learn how to measure and blend drinks, but we also cover more advanced concepts like the difference between a dry shake, wet shake, japanese shake, and throwing (hint: it’s an alternative to shaking). Our bartenders will delight you with the history of each cocktail and share lore about how the cocktail was first invented.

After the class you’ll be able to identify the tools of the trade and know the difference between a hawthorn strainer and a fine mesh strainer. Discover when to stir, shake, or swizzle a cocktail. Master the different shaking techniques and find a style of your own. Prepare garnish like a pro and understand which glass to choose for each cocktail.

It’s entertaining, fun, and you get to drink the cocktails that you craft.
