We begin the excursion at 8:00 a.m., when we pick up each passenger from their accommodation. Then, we head towards the north of the city to take Route Nª1 that will take us to this Natural Reserve.

We will stop at the Checkpoint a few kilometers before reaching the Interpretation Center, where we will pay the entrance fee to the reserve.

Subsequently, we tour the Interpretation Center accompanied by our guide to introduce ourselves to the flora and fauna of the Patagonian environment of the Valdés Peninsula. Those who wish can go up to the viewpoint, where they will have a panoramic view of the Golfo Nuevo and the Golfo San José.

In this center we will have toilets and a kiosk.

We enjoyed a brief city tour of Puerto Pirámides to learn more about the only tourist town on the Peninsula.

During whale season (from July to the end of November), we stay approximately 2 hours. in this place to embark on the famous Whale Watching (Service - included in the price of the excursion).

In this town we will have gastronomic services, pantries, kiosks and souvenir shops.

We take a gravel route to head towards Caleta Valdés and Punta Cantor. These are two emblematic geographical sites of the Peninsula where we can walk along their trails and viewpoints to contemplate the colonies of sea lions and elephant seals.

Depending on the month of the year, we can see the colony of Magellanic Penguins (from September to March) and the imposing Orcas (from March to April and from September to November).

Throughout the trip, we will have the chance to see local fauna: Armadillos, Guanacos, Maras, Foxes, among others, in addition to various striking land birds such as the Choiques and Martinetas, as well as flying birds known as Petrels, Terns, Oystercatchers, Owls, Martinettes, etc.
