This is a unique experience because Wadi Rum is a one and only desert in our planet earth. You will be able to see the red and white sand desert and also do sandboarding in a red sand dune. You can also hike in one of the beautiful mountains we have in this unique scenario and see the sunset or the sundown while the moon goes to sleep or makes her first appearance at night. You will be able to make camel ride surrounded by this spectacular landscape and also you can feed the camels that live in freedom in the desert from the jeep if they approach to you. The show of colors you can see in Wadi Rum will captivate your eye once you put your feet naked in the sand. And above all, you can make all this with a Bedouin, the original people from Wadi Rum desert since centuries ago.

What are we going to do?

During 8h jeep tour in Wadi Rum you will be in the Protected Area of the desert, and you will experience the most relevant and beautiful places of the Valley.

You will be able to see camels, drink Bedouin tea and also sandboard in the sand dunes of the Wadi Rum desert, and you will see incredible and unique landscapes, and one of the most beautiful things to do in the desert, you will see the sundown in this one and only scenario.

You will visit the Lawrence Spring, the Khazali Canyon, the Little Rock Bridge, Lawrence House, the Mushroom rock, the Burdah Rock Bridge, the Abu Khashaba Canyon, Um Frouth Rock Bridge and we will end the tour watching the sundown.

Our starting point is the Wadi Rum Rest House in the Wadi Rum village which is located about 7 km from the Visitor Center. And also we can pick you in the camp.

Once we finish the tour we will drop you back to the Visitor Center. You can also agree with us to return to your camp.

Stop 2

Once we meet in Wadi Rum Village, we will drive to tour first stop, the Nabatean temple. The temple was build around the first century BC.

Stop 3

The next spot will be the Lawrence Spring, where you will be able to see camels, climb the mountain to see the spring and have a beautiful view of the desert.

Stop 4

Then we will drive you to a red Sand Dune, where you can climb to the top, play with the sand and take nice pictures of the desert.

Our traditional next place to visit is Khazali Canyon, where you will see Ancient Petroglyphs

Stop 6

Then we will drive to the Small Rock Bridge, where you will hike a little mountain where you will be able to cross the Little Bridge on the top and see the desert

Last stop before lunch will be Lawrence’s House, a cave in Wadi Rum desert where you will hike up the mountain and see the same views Lawrence had when he lived in the desert with the Bedouins.

Stop 8

Lunch time has arrived. Your Bedouin guide will prepare the food after setting a fire in a quiete place in the desert. After lunch you will have some rest after continue the tour.

Stop 9

After lunch time we start with the first stop, the Mushroom Rock. We call this as a miracle of nature or a miracle of the Creator over centuries of wind and rains.

Stop 10

Burdah Mountain will be the next spot, where you will se from the feet the Rock Bridge that comprises the three largest arches in Wadi Rum, perched some 80m above the surrounding rock. Its height and its location offer one of the most incredible sunsets you have ever experienced

Stop 11

We will continue driving to the Red Canyon and Sand dune. This is a beautiful and relaxing walk. We will leave you in one side of the Canyon and will see you on the other side, where you will be able to do sand boarding in a red sand dune.

Stop 12

The last stop of the day will be Um Frouth Rock Bridge. This is one of the highlights of Wadi Rum. You will clim a rock and walk through this unique Rock Bridge. This will be the last activity of the day before watching the sundown.

Stop 13

One of the most beautiful moments of the tour is going to a beautiful spot in the desert to watch the sunset. You will find the cherry on the top of the cake once you enjoy this time with Bedouin tea and surrounded by this incredible scenario in the UNESCO Protected Area of Wadi Rum.

Meeting point

Once in the ticket office in Wadi Rum Visitor Center, tell the person that will attend you that you have a booking with our company. Then, you will go from The Wadi Rum Visitor Center to the Rest House in Wadi Rum Village.

Important notes

When you arrive at Wadi Rum Visitor Center you will be able to buy the 5JD entrance ticket per person, or show your Jordan Pass.

Once in the ticket office tell the person that will attend you that you have a booking with Fares Wadi Rum.

If you come with your car:
After the ticket office you will drive in your car to Wadi Rum village, where we will meet at the Wadi Rum Rest House, which is located about 7 km from Visitor Center.

If you are coming by bus:
Ask the driver to call us when you are at the Visitor Center, and the bus will drop you off at the Rest House.

If you are coming by Taxi:
The driver will take you directly to the Rest House.
