This is our most popular day excursion. Leave the city in the morning and get back by the early evening, enjoying a day of physical beauty and cultural connection. Along the way, you'll explore around seven traditional Berber villages, enjoy mint tea with a local Berber family, and learn about their daily life and rich traditions. Take a guided walk to the waterfalls and soak in spectacular mountain views. You’ll also have the opportunity to ride camels and visit a women’s Argan oil cooperative to discover how this prized oil is made.

We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech
After a 40-minute drive from Marrakech, we’ll stop for a short camel ride through the scenic landscape. Then, visit a Berber women’s Argan oil cooperative to see how this valuable oil is traditionally produced. Enjoy a relaxing tea break with a local Berber family before continuing into the mountains.
3. Hike to Armed Village & Lunch
From Imlil, begin a guided walk through the valley to Armed village (2,000m altitude). If needed, a mule can take you up. Enjoy a homemade lunch in a Berber home (own expense) with stunning views of Mt. Toubkal and its sister peaks. You can also try Berber cooking!
After lunch, walk back through a lush valley lined with ancient walnut trees, stopping at the beautiful Naqab Waterfall. Return to Imlil to meet your driver, then enjoy a scenic drive back to Marrakech, passing through the stunning Ourika Valley. You’ll be dropped off at your accommodation around 4:00 PM.
