About this experience

Ubud is well known as the artist village of the painters, where you are also have opportunity to explore the beautiful countyside. The first place to stop where we introduce you the Balinese traditional houses which has different structure and architecture to the modern house. Then drive up to the central Ubud to visit Puri Lukisan museum where Bali famous artist of the painter and sculpture work exhibited. Not far from museum is Puri Saren Ubud is a palace of the latest King of Ubud. The palace has very great Balinese art design it is very interesting to visit. Just across the road from the palace is Ubud art market they sell various Balinese art work.

Leave the central Ubud explore the countryside and rice field to visit Petulu village is the home of whitw herons normally they come to their home in the afternoon around 4 PM and leave in the morning around 9 AM.

Stop 1

This experience will enable you to explore the best of Ubud in one day, from rice paddies, to ancient Hindu shrines including the intricately carved Goa Gajah, known locally as Elephant Cave, and Gunung Kawi, carved onto sheer rock faces. Explore Ubuds cultural arts and crafts scene at Puri Lukisan, and the village of Petulu, where traditional crafts are still made by hand. Visit the formal Royal palace of Puri Saren Ubud, for a glimpse of the Royal lifestyle.

Exploring the former Royal palace of Puri Saren, where once the highest of Bali society gathered and entertained, and the last Balinese King reigned, with its stunningly intricate carved lintels and once gem encrusted vestiges.

A trip to any of Balis traditional markets, is always eye opening. On this trip you will explore one of Bali's oldest art markets. Here both traditional style handmade crafts are made before your eyes, as well as more contemporary art offerings and sculptures. Leaving the city and markets behind, we head out into the lush green countryside, passing rice fields on your way to Petulu Village. Be mesmerized by the lush terraced rice fields and vast flocks of Kokoan white herons, that frequent this side of the world to hatch their eggs, during the annual migration, before transferring back through breathtaking panoramic mountainside views to your hotel, where it will be time to say goodbye.
