About this experience
The tour starts with the visit of the Royal Apartments of the Palace of Portici, summer residence of the Bourbons. In the same building the Herculanense Museum is housed, an interactive museum that reminds the first archeological museum of antiquities discovered in the ancient cities of Herculaneum and Pompei, buried under the eruption of Mount Vesuvius of 79 a. D. After this the tour will continue with the visit of the Villa Campolieto, one of the many historic palaces built with beautiful gardens by the noble families of the royal court not far from the Palace of Portici for the summer holidays.
