Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Puerto Plata's biggest attraction offers you a walk through dense forests, passing over bridges and discovering numerous species of flora, before reaching the top of a rocky hill from where you will begin your descent of 7 waterfalls either by jumping or sliding down a series of waterfalls which are available with a guide who will go with you explaining and showing you how to slide or jump.

2

Umbrella Street has a wonderful and very relaxed atmosphere, it has bars, shops, an ice cream parlor, a coffee shop. Perfect to have a good time with family, partner or friends, and also to capture that experience by taking beautiful photographs.

3

The Paseo de Doña Blanca or La calle de Rosa de Puerto Plata is a beautiful attraction located in the center of the city where you can capture your stay in beautiful photos and videos that make your senses fall in love.

The Paseo de Doña Blanca is undoubtedly one of the most visited picturesque attractions in the country, located in Puerto Plata, which is one of the tourist cities of the Dominican Republic that has great cultural, historical wealth and how to forget its gastronomy. On this beautiful island we find large cities, municipalities and beautiful corners.

4

Offers visitors a glimpse into the Dominican Republic's impressive process of making premium cigars. See perfected hand-rolling methods and learn about processing tobacco from leaf to cigar. You'll also be able to roll your own cigar during your visit, as well as buy premium brands direct from the source.

5

Larimar and amber are two natural jewels from the Dominican Republic that people colloquially know as the blue stone or the love stone, the first, and the good luck gem, the second.

The larimar was discovered when workers from the province of Barahona saw that strange blue stones were washed into the sea by the rivers.

Amber is a fossilized resin that has flowed over 60 million years ago from the carob trees planted in the vast fields of Santiago and Puerto Plata.

6
Stop 6

San Felipe Fortress was built by the Spanish in the 16th century to defend the north coast of the country from the English and Dutch, as well as French pirates in search of the abundant gold and silver in the area. It is considered one of the most important colonial military structures in the Caribbean, it was completed in 1577 and later served as a prison until the years of the dictator Trujillo. Today it is a museum that exhibits the original cannons facing the Atlantic, ancient weapons, and numerous secret chambers. It offers spectacular views over the coast of Puerto Plata and watching the sunset from the foot of the fortress, next to La Puntilla park, is a daily activity for Puerto Plata residents.
