Once we are ready and with all the indications to enter the trail we will start the 3-km walk, where we will observe the natural beauties that the park offers us. The trail passes through the main points of tourist attraction and scientific of the place. Currently the volcano is inactive , but has a wide variety of flora and fauna, many of these species are in danger of extinction such as the Danta, tepezcuintle and puma, so hopefully we can observe them.
Our first visit will be with the Celeste River Waterfall, which with its 20 meters high gives us a great scenic beauty. Next, we will go to the viewpoint, which will be the highest point of the trail, where you will see three of the five craters that the Tenorio Volcano has, Tenorio 1, Tenorio 2 and Montezuma (if of course the weather conditions allowed it).
We will take the chance to visit the Blue Lagoon and a few meters from this beautiful path, after crossing two wooden bridges we will reach the "Teñideros," which is where the river takes its blue color and where the explanation for this curious phenomenon is given. Finishing the tour, we will see the fumaroles which will remind us that we are in an active volcano.
The panoramic view that we will have of different points during the tour will allow us to obtain great photographs and memories, nevertheless, it will be considered that we return by the same road in case we lacked some detail to capture.
