Detailed itinerary

1

Bellapais Village is the most famous of all villages that we will visit. The village is developed around the 13th century Bellapais Monastery. Both the monastery and the picturesque Bellapais village set in the foothills of the Kyrenia Mountains. As a former home of British writer Lawrence Durrell, the village and the monastery became famous with his book ''Bitter lemons of Cyprus''.

2

Bellapais Monastery the 13th century Bellapais Monastery is deservedly regarded as the masterpiece of Gothic architecture in Cyprus. The abbey is remarkably well preserved and with beautiful aches, ornate decorations, and stunning views from its courtyard, it offers a feast to the eye.

3

Ilgaz Village is the second stop of the tour. It is the smallest village that we will visit and it's usually outside the typical tourist route. Ilgaz is quiet, peaceful and full with traditional style cottages. It also hosts the vinery that we will enjoy a tour, tasting and lunch.

4

Wine Tasting and Lunch. The tour offers wine tasting (a selection of 6 wines and a tour of the vinery) and lunch in a winery located in Ilgaz village against the views of wine fields located in slopes against the Mediterranean.

5

Karmi Village. The village of Karmi is famous with its whitewashed little cottages, traditional stone houses, colorful antique doors, quirky narrow alleys, and secret passages. It is an architectural protection zone and all houses are owned by Europeans, mostly British with a long-term lease. Such structure enables the village to have its own community and vibe. The streets are full with bougainvilleas and laidback stray cats that are fed by the village community.

6

Kyrenia Harbour and old town. No tour to Kyrenia is complete without a stroll around the Kyrenia old Harbour. The horseshoe shaped picturesque Old Harbour is the jewel of Kyrenia where one can breathe the history of the city and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.
