About this experience

We start our day meeting at the Manasota beach boat ramp. We then board our 24' pontoon boat. The boat is fully equipped with Bluetooth radio, pool noodles, a lilly pad mat, snorkel equipment, fishing poles, sand sifters, sand toys, football, frisbee, sand chairs, a tent, & a cooler. From there we take a 1 hour cruise south on lemon bay. Our first stop is Boca Grande sand bar. Here you can swim, play and fish at one of the most popular sand bars in the area. There are sand dollars, star fish, lightning welks, and dolphin galore at this spot. Next stop is Little Gasparilla Island. This is a great spot to set up beach chairs and a tent and have lunch. We also recommend using the sand sifter to hunt for sharks teeth. The views of the bay and gulf from this location are absolutely magical. Finally we board the boat and head north to stump pass state park. This is a very popular boating destination were you can beach, sand bar swim and play in the inlet waters. Last stop is the boat ramp.

Detailed itinerary

1

Spend the day on the water visiting local beaches and sand bars by boat. Your day starts with you and your guests being picked up by our captain and your choise of either our 24' pontoon boat or our 21' center console boat. We will travel south on lemon bay to our first stop Stump Pass state park. The state park has many places to collect shells, swim and relax. The pass is and entry point for boaters to the gulf of mexico so the views are absolutely amazing. Once you have your pckets full of the best shells in the area, we will continue south to Boca Grande, sand bar. Along the way you are guaranteed to see dolphins, manatee, turtles and bird of all kinds.

2

Boca Grande sand bar is huge and an old train tressel splits the sand bar in half. We provide you with snorkels to hunt for shells, sand dollars, and welks. There are almost always dolphin and manatee playing in the area as well. You can also lounge around in the sun and enjoy the turquoise waters. Don't forget to pack a lunch, your favorite beverages (BYOB), and sun block to complete your excursion(cooler w ice and water included). This experience is not one you will forget!

3

We visit the most southern tip of Gasparilla Island. This island is only accessible by boat and does not even allow cars. This place is magical because you are at the inlet pass where the bay meets the gulf of mexico. There is a beautiful boat up beach and a sand bar. The shelling and shark tooth hunting here are incredible as well. The dolphin always frequent this area and are generally very friendly and playful to guests swimming and boating in the area.
