Your local friendly guide will greet you at Shanghai airport or cruise port upon arrival, enjoy a short ride to the lovely and peaceful Xinchang water town. Once used be to a salt farm, it is a little cute village that features with traditional old houses along canals, stone bridges and authenical markets with local crafts, arts, trinkets, food. You will enjoy some fun stroll along the stone paved streets and get insight into the local custom. You may also sample some of the local food/snacks with the recommendation from your guide. If you book the “Water Town tour “only, after the visit, you will be transferred back to the airport or cruise port.

Stop 2

If you book the “Water Town with City Sites”, then you will continue the tour to the downtown Shanghai with the customized itinerary. Following is the sample itinerary be sure to let your guide know if you want to make changes. Visit the city’s top site at the Bund area, known as the “International Architecture Gallery”, here you will take in the wonderful old and new Shanghai skylines along the river front and set your cameral ready and capture as many pictures as you want.

Stop 3

Next head to Shanghai Tower in Pudong Lujiazui financial area, here marvel at the modern glamor of the skyscrapers in Pudong, learn how shanghai has prospered from the past. If a nice clear day, make a tour to the top observation deck at 118 floors at Shanghai Tower, ranked as the world’s second tallest building and enjoy a fabulous bird-eye view in 360 degree of the whole city.

If time permits you could also choose to visit Xintiandi at the French concession, Old Town bazaar or Yu garden. Please feel free to discuss with your guide during the tour. After the great tour you will be dropped off at airport or cruise port.
