Stop 1

Your local friendly driver will hold your name sign waiting for you at your Shanghai hotel lobby and enjoy the easy ride to Shanghai Hongqiao airport and check in your flight to Xi’an (The round-trip plane tickets will be pre-booked for you). Upon arrive at Xi’an, your local guide and the driver will greet you at Xi’an airport and enjoy a comfortable ride to the first must visit site at Terra-cotta Warriors. Spend quality time with your guide to explore different pits with a collection of several thousand life-size figures made of terracotta (burnt clay), depicting soldiers, officers, horses, chariots that excavated in the tomb of the first Chinese emperor Qin Shi from 210 BC. Marvel at the world wonder while listening the interesting and history commentary from your knowledgeable guide.

Stop 2

Take a break and savor a local delightful lunch (Your guide will help you choose the dish base on your own dietary requests). In the afternoon , based on the time and interests you have : you could choose to visit 1 or two more sites such as : 1) Xi’an Ancient City Wall with 600 years history that help you to learn the significant past of the ancient capital or you could choose to visit : 2) Big Goose Wild Pagoda: an UNESCO Buddhist pagoda originally built in 652 AD and learn the fascinating religious culture and wisdom.

If you enjoy seeing the local markets and life, you could also choose to make a stop at the local wonderful exotic Muslim Quarter where all the local interesting street food, colorful markets, stalls to explore. After the wonderful full day tour your guide will see you off at Xi’an airport and your local driver in Shanghai will wait for you at Shanghai airport and take you back to your hotel.
