Stop 1

Your local friendly guide and the driver will pick up at your place in Xiamen. Following is the recommended itinerary, be sure to let your guide know if you have other interests. As the private tour the itinerary is fully customizable and will be tailor made to you. Typically start the tour with the relaxing ferry ride to the UNESCO site Gulangyu Island (KulangSu), a must visit site in Xiamen. Upon arrival enjoy the leisure stroll along old colonial architecture, alley lanes and trees, memorial statues and visit the China’s only Piano museum etc.

On the Island, visit the classic Chinese Shu Zhuang Garden built by the wealth merchant in the Qing Dynasty, appreciate the beauty of traditional china southern garden with “Garden on the Sea”. After the visit, take ferry back to Xiamen Island, enjoy a delightful lunch at the well selected local restaurant. Your guide will recommend the delicacies base on your dietary requests.

Stop 3

Next head to the 1500-year-old Buddhist temple -Nanputuo Temple, visit different complex, statues in the temple while listing to the monks chanting and incense burning as you stroll along the beautiful-lotus filled lake. Have a great learning about the religious culture, wisdom from you guide. If you enjoy hiking, you may choose to enjoy a nice walk along the stone pathway to the summit of Wuluo Mountain and have a great picturesque view of the city.

Continue the tour to visit Zengcuo an village, once an ancient and quite finishing village with thousand years history, now famed as “China’s most artistic finishing village “ explore various small lanes among the typical brick old houses and enjoy see the fantastic food markets .have a great understanding of the local custom , culture from your guide.

Later pay a visit to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian street, have fun explore the typical Chinese shopping street, see the interesting local street vendors include food, arts, crafts, trinkets etc. You may also enjoy some souvenir shopping.
