Hop onto the private and air-conditioned, comfortable car and enjoy the nice ride to the largest Tulou cluster in Yongding county of Fujian province. Upon arrival, visit Zhencheng Tulou, regarded as the “Prince of Tulou”. Follow your guide and explore the impressive “Eight diagrams “design from the ancient “Book of the Changes”, marvel at the amazing engineering feat of the solid building which has been standing for centuries. Walk inside to the interior living complex and learn the interesting community lifestyle from the friendly locals, have fun interacting with the inhabitants here and get a more in-depth understanding of local culture, custom here.
Next take a break and savor a delightful lunch based on your own dietary requests, include a nice try of the Hakka homemade rice wine.
Afternoon continue to visit other Tulou buildings include the “The Potala Palace” style Kuiju Tulou, the smallest round building -Rusheng Tulou, Fuyu Tulou as well as Qing Dynasty “Mazu” temple where the local worships the “Goddess of the Sea”.
