Your local friendly guide and driver will meet you at your place in Nanjing. (Your Nanjing Hotel or Nanjing train station if you travel by train). Enjoy the comfortable ride to Purple Mountain scenic area. Upon arrival get ready to take the steps. Follow your private guide and hike at your pace and immerse yourself in the peaceful natural sounds and beautiful sceneries. On the way, if you are interested in astronomy, then stop by the Zijin observatory which is the cradle of China’s modern astronomy. Make the way to Toutuoling peak and enjoy the spectacular view of the whole Nanjing city and the grand Yangtze river on the clear day. After that, enjoy an easy and nice cableway down.

After that, you are free to choose one or two other famous city attractions in the region, such as Dr. Sun-Yat Sen Mausoleum, Xiaoling Tomb of Ming Dynasty or even a Buddhist Temple Lingu Si based on your time and preferences.

During the tour you will also have the opportunity to savor a delightful lunch with the recommendations from your guide.

After the great excursion you will be transferred back to your Nanjing hotel or railway station if you travel by train.
