Stop 1

Vienna to Salzburg, about 3h.
We'll start our cozy journey at 8:00 am and at about 11:00 am we'll be in Salzburg. During our road we'll tell you general information about Austria and Austrian history connected with Salzburg. We'll do a short stop at a gas station for a restroom, snack, and coffee.

We will begin our introduction to Salzburg in a traditional beer restaurant, where you will be served a breakfast of white sausages, beer and brezzel. Since 1327 Guglbräu in Salzburg is a second largest brewery. It's a traditional Bavarian beer restaurant, where guests have been spoiled with the best Augustinian beer and real delicacies. Brunch is included (white sausages, one sample of beer, one Brezel).

During our 2 hours walking tour we'll see the main sightseeing places in Salzburg: art, culture and a unique history awaiting us. Since 1997, Salzburg has been a proud member of the UNESCO World Heritage List – a city of “outstanding value to humanity”. We invite you to experience it with us, as we pay a visit to the historical district of downtown Salzburg!

At the end of our tour we'll visit another local brewery - Sternbräu. This name "Sternbräu" means "Star brew" and was mentioned in 1542 in Salzburg. One sample of bear we'll be included.

Stop 5

Fortress Hohensalzburg is a real eye-catcher, high above the Baroque towers of the city. The castle remains a visible landmark to this day and is a specific feature of Salzburg’s world-famous skyline. From afar, the mighty walls reveal the history visitors experience firsthand within these sturdy defences. Thanks to the audio guide, you can explore the castle at your own pace.
