About this experience

The morning begins with an breath taking hike in Tenorio volcano national park, a primary forest with luxurious flora. At the end of the path, we reach Rio Celeste Waterfall, one of the most iconic view of all Costa Rica! The hike is about 1 hour to get there and very well worth it!

Discover the natural habitat of the amazing Costa Rican Sloths amidst the lush Tropical Forest of the Tenorio Volcano.

Along the way, Mother Nature may show up with colorful Toucans or even the world famous Red Eyed Tree Frog. This is an adventure of discovery to explore the richness of the nature and wildlife of Costa Rica.

The tour also includes a bonus visit to a small butterfly garden to observe the amazing blue Morpho butterfly.

You will visit Tenorio Volcano National Park, an amazing primary forest, the real rainforest of Costa Rica! We have an hour hike to reach the steps that leads down to Rio Celeste Waterfall, a wonder of nature! During this walk, we might observe wildlife amongst the luxurious flora!

We will take a well deserved typical lunch in a local restaurant where you will experience the fresh and delicious food of Costa Rica. You will also get to visit a small butterfly garden and learn about the Famous Blue Morpho butterfly.

Finally, we will go on a small private reserve to observe the famous sloth in its natural habitat. Hopefully we also get the chance to observe Toucans, Red-Eyes Tree Frogs and much more.
