About this experience

We know what it's like to visit a new place (or return to an already-visited place). You want to see and experience as much as you can! We understand that. Our main goal with the Tour de Wilmington is to show you as much of Wilmington as possible. The areas that we travel through or have a brief stop in, are areas that you may not have discovered otherwise! Some of these are off the beaten path, some up-and-coming, but all are sure to impress.

Our tours are focused on mainly riding the e-bikes, showing you around the areas. Getting on and off e-bikes can be challenging for some, and for this reason, we specifically do not require attendees to dismount and re-mount their e-bikes several times throughout the tour (aka, a talking tour). We will have brief stops at a few places, but for the most part, you will get to really enjoy a beautiful e-bike ride!

What you'll see

Hop on a high-performance e-bike and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and soul of Wilmington. The Tour de Wilmington isn’t just a bike ride... it’s the ride. In just three hours, you’ll experience the city’s perfect blend of history, culture, and nature... all at an exhilarating pace.

Your journey begins downtown, where charming cobblestone streets meet buzz-worthy restaurants, eclectic shops, and historic landmarks. From there, we’ll dive into Wilmington’s most character-filled neighborhoods: the gritty-cool Brooklyn Arts District, the nostalgic Soda Pop District, the ultra-hip Cargo District, and the ever-evolving Castle Street corridor.

Next stop? Nature. We’ll wind through the lush trails of Greenfield Lake Park, where wooden bridges, vibrant blooms, and mirror-like waters set the scene. Keep your eyes peeled... you might even spot a gator sunning itself by the shore.

Midway through the journey, we’ll take a well-deserved 30-minute break in Wilmington’s vibrant Soda Pop District. This eclectic enclave invites you to stretch your legs, explore, and refuel—your way.

Craving something sweet? Head to The Wandering Cone Creamery, where small-batch, housemade ice cream is served without artificial flavors, dyes, or guilt. Their rich, lactose-free options are every bit as indulgent—crafted for those who skip dairy but refuse to compromise on flavor. It’s a treat that tastes as good as it feels.

Prefer to sip and chill? Ibis Coffee & Cocktails offers a thoughtful menu of locally roasted coffee and inventive, artfully balanced cocktails. Or, for the craft beer enthusiast, Hi-Wire Brewing pours 21 rotating taps of bold brews—ranging from seasonal sours to limited-edition releases—alongside a curated selection of wines.

Whether you’re after something smooth, bold, or bubbly, this stop is all about discovering what refreshes you.

At the end of the ride, travel back in time and immerse yourself in the North Carolina’s oldest rural garden cemetery, the Oakdale Cemetery.

From city streets to scenic trails, this tour is your all-access pass to the heartbeat of Wilmington. You won’t just see the city; you’ll know it. Let’s ride.

Please arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts to ensure a smooth experience. Our tours are all about fun and enjoyment, focusing on the joy of riding e-bikes while soaking in Wilmington’s vibrant atmosphere. Best of all, no deposit is required—just show up ready for an unforgettable ride!
