Come and visit the only Tropical Rainforest in the U.S Forest System! We will begin this unique tour to the “El Yunque Rainforest”, by picking you up early at your hotel. From there we will embark in a drive through the historic “route 66” until our arrival to “Las tinajas trail”. This is where the adventure begins with a 20 minutes’ walk to our first stop in one of the most pristine water river and waterfall. During our hike, you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of el “ Yunque” linked to the Taino’s, but also explore the unique ecosystem of this forest that is home to multiple endemic species such as the Puertorican parrot.
Be aware this a muddy tour, be prepared to get wet and dirty! But more than that be prepared to a real connecting experience with yourself, the nature and the best that Puerto Rico has to offer!
