The day will start with your pick at the hotel in San Jose, Alajuela or Heredia to drive for around 3 hours to the Arenal lake and have a delicious typical lunch with beautiful views of Arenal Volcano. After taking a rest we will go to the Arenal lake to start the kayaking tour for about 2 hours to discover the best hidden secrets of the lake. Then we will go to a zoo to watch the flora and fauna from Costa Rica.
Located in the North Zone of Costa Rica, right on the slopes of the Arenal Volcano, La Fortuna de San Carlos. The lake, lagoon or artificial Arenal dam is the largest in Central America, has an area of 85.5 km². The flow of the lake was increased three times in order to become a hydroelectric project, which currently produces 40% of the energy consumed in Costa Rica.
