About this experience

We will pick you up at the lodging of your hotel to take you at one of the most famous volcanoes at Costa Rica, It has erupted 40 times since 1828, including April 2017 when visitors and residents were evacuated. The volcano and surrounding park were closed for nearly 17 months, with a 2.5 kilometer safety perimeter established around the erupting crater. As of September 1, 2018 the park has reopened with limited access only to the crater observation area.
After we will have a delicious typical lunch at the zone.
Then we will visit one of the most beautiful waterfall in Costa Rica, La Paz waterfall.
And to make it this tour very interesting we will visit the unique Coffee farm in the world

Stop 1

The Tour will start with pick up at your hotel to take you at Poas Volcano, as we ascend the mountain, we will see coffee plantations as well as fern, flower and strawberry farms along the way, creating a beautiful array of colors and visuals.

There is a noticeable change in temperature and vegetation, preparing us for the pleasure of the exuberant cloud forest of the Poas Volcano.

The Poás Volcano, is an active 2,708-metre (8,885 ft) stratovolcano. The crater of the volcano is over a mile across and 1050 feet deep. It has erupted 40 times since 1828, including April, 2017.

At the Volcano we will have time to enjoy the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles.

Then we will have a delicious typical lunch at the restaurants around the zone.

Then visit the most famous Coffee Farm, the first and only coffee farm in Costa Rica.

With beautiful views and incredible facilities.
