The old whaling harbour of Steine, where lies the oldest "rorbu" cabins of Lofoten, lies on a rugged coastline dotted by thousands of little islands. The views on the opposite side of the fjord stretches to Ure mountain and the charming village of Sennesvik.

The scenic coastal road of the island of Vestvågøy winds along jagged peaks and twisting fjords. At the middle of it lies the tiny community of Valberg, with its little wooden church and its quiet sandy beach.

The little Rorvika beach is famous for its emerald green waters. On summer weekends it is one of the most favorite destinations for locals who want to enjoy some beach time.

The charming Henningsvaer, beautifully built on stilts along a canal, is also called "the Venice of the arctic". Once one of the most important fishing villages on Lofoten, today is one of the most lively centers of the archipelago, home to several art galleries and handcraft shops.
